Vineyard Owner: Charlie Heintz & Family

Heintz Ranch has been owned and operated by the Heintz family since 1912. The 50-acre vineyard is located in Occidental, a cooler section of the Russian River Valley within the Sonoma Coast AVA. Heintz Vineyard is world renowned for producing exceptional quality fruit grown by 3rd generation farmer Charlie Heintz, who feels it is his job to protect and nurture the land. The coastal influences and cool climate allow for a longer growing season, intensifying the flavors of the fruit.
